Last Updated: June 28, 2026
Thank you for using Parsley. With Stephanie Cleary, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) operates Parsley, a contract and billing platform for service providers, available at parsleyhq.com (“Website”) and as a web application (“App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your information.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and share information gathered when you access the Website or use the App. Please review it carefully.
By accessing our Website or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
What This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to information we collect:
- Through our Website (parsleyhq.com)
- Through the Parsley App and its features (account creation, contracts, invoices, client records, billing)
- Through email or other communications you initiate with us
This Policy does not apply to information collected offline or through third-party websites or services we may link to. We have no control over data collected by those third parties.
Age Requirements
Parsley is intended for use by adults operating businesses or providing professional services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected information from someone under 16, we will promptly delete it. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us at [email protected].
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account or use the App, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, business name, and password (stored in encrypted form)
- Subscription billing: managed through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your credit card or bank account numbers — that information is transmitted directly to and stored by Stripe. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Client and business data you enter: names, email addresses, billing details, contract terms, and other information about your clients that you input into Parsley in order to generate contracts, invoices, and payment records
- Newsletter opt-in: if you voluntarily sign up for our email newsletter, we collect your email address for that purpose. Signing up for a free trial or paid subscription to Parsley does not automatically add you to our newsletter list.
- Testimonials and submissions: if you submit a review, testimonial, or other public content through our Website, that content may be shared publicly. Please see the Testimonials and Submissions section below for more detail.
- Support communications: any messages or inquiries you send to us
Information We Collect Automatically
As you use the Website and App, we may automatically collect:
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and features used
- Session and authentication data: cookies and tokens used to keep you logged in and secure your account (see Cookies section below)
A Note on Client Data
When you use Parsley to manage contracts and billing for your own clients, you are uploading information about those third parties. We process that data solely on your behalf to provide the App’s functionality. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share that information with us and that your own clients are aware their information is being processed through a third-party platform.
Sources of Information
Your information may come from:
- Directly from you — when you create an account, enter client information, sign up for our newsletter, submit a testimonial, or contact us
- Automatically — through cookies and similar technologies as you use the Website and App
- Third parties — such as Stripe, when processing subscription payments or client invoice payments on your behalf
Cookies and Tracking

App: The Parsley App uses cookies and session tokens that are necessary for the App to function — specifically, to keep you authenticated and maintain a secure session. These are not used for advertising.
You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so may prevent the App from functioning properly.
We do not use web beacons, pixels, or third-party behavioral advertising trackers.

- Create and manage your account
- Provide, operate, and improve the App
- Process your subscription payments (via Stripe)
- Enable you to send invoices and contracts to your clients
- Send you our newsletter, if you have opted in
- Communicate with you about your account, including support and important service updates

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
How We Share Your Information
We only share your information as described in this Policy.
Affiliates and brand partners: We may share information with affiliates, referral partners, or other selected partners where relevant to the purpose for which you provided the information. We will be transparent about any such relationships.
Service providers: We share data with third-party vendors who help us operate the App, including:
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions and client invoice payments
- Render — cloud hosting for the App
- Other vendors as necessary for App infrastructure, email delivery, or support
These providers are contractually required to use your data only as directed by us and to maintain appropriate security.
Business transfers: If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice if this occurs.
Legal requirements: We may disclose your information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of the Company or others.
At your direction: We share data as you instruct, such as when the App sends an invoice on your behalf to your client.
We may share non-personally identifiable, aggregated data (such as overall usage statistics) without restriction.
Testimonials and Submissions
If you submit a testimonial, review, or other public content (“Submission”) through our Website or to us directly, you understand that we may use that Submission to promote Parsley — for example, on our Website, in marketing materials, or on social media. We will generally attribute Submissions to you by first name or business name unless you request otherwise.
Please keep in mind that if a Submission is posted publicly on our Website, the Company has limited control over how third parties interact with or share that content. Consider this before submitting.
If you would like a Submission removed, contact us at [email protected] and we will make reasonable efforts to do so.
Your Choices
- Cookies: You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect App functionality.
- Newsletter: If you have opted into our newsletter, you may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us at [email protected]. Unsubscribing from the newsletter does not affect your Parsley account.
